Thank you for your interest in the Black Hills Energy Colorado Electric Custom Rebate Program.
Before filling out the online rebate application, make sure you have your Black Hills Energy utility account number as well as supporting project document in PDF, spreadsheet, JPEG or Microsoft Word. You will be asked to upload these documents as part of the online application process. Applications to the Black Hill Energy Custom Program must receive pre-approval BEFORE equipment is purchased or work starts.
Please follow these steps,
Submitting the application online gives you access to records of your current applications, rebate amounts, and related documents. There is no need to submit the paper application, unless you are a trade ally who is submitting an application on the customer's behalf. If so, we would need the customer to review the Terms and Conditions, and then sign and date the application form. The signed form may be scanned and uploaded as a PDF or JPEG.
Upon receipt of the completed application and all required supporting documents, the application outcome will generally be issued by email within 2 to 3 weeks. This timeframe may be extended if additional information is required or if we are experiencing high application volumes.
